Covid-19 Update

FD Plumbing and Heating is open for business. The situation is changing, and we will work in line with the WHO and government guidelines.

We understand the importance of households having access to effective heating and plumbing systems during this period, and we will endeavour to provide our services.

The health and safety of both our engineers and our customers is our number one concern, and as such we are introducing the following measures:

• Please let us know if you are self-isolating and or showing symptoms. Each situation will be judged individually, and we proceed in line with the current recommendations.

• We may have to reschedule some appointments due to the need to prioritise vulnerable people. Please bear with us if this happens, we are doing our best to reach everyone in need.

• We request that during the appointments, you maintain a safe distance from the engineer if possible. The engineers have been instructed to minimise contact and been asked not to shake customer’s hands

• Engineers will have appropriate PPE, and will be updated on the latest hygiene requirements• Any engineer who has shown symptoms will be asked to self-isolate for the recommended period and will not attend appointments. We thank you for your understanding if this causes cancellations and delays; will work assign an alternative engineer as soon as possible.
