Who Needs Emergency Heating Services?

Generally, you need emergency heating services if you’re faced with a heating issue that creates a safety situation inside your home or in the surrounding area or if it is outside business hours and waiting until the following day might cause irreparable damage to your home or heating system. So many homes in the UK operate with a gas boiler and radiator heating system, so there are many factors that could be classified as a heating emergency.

In most cases, it is a problem with the boiler (though if it’s an electric shower that’s stopped giving hot water, it may well be a problem with that). Our service vans carry almost all of the equipment, fittings and materials we’re likely to need to fix the problem. If it turns out that you need a part that we don’t have with us, we’ll make everything secure and safe and get the part for you from one of our local suppliers. Once the problem is fixed, we get everything back up and running and test it thoroughly.

How to Prevent Unexpected Heating Issues

Having your heating system inspected and serviced on a regular basis is a great way to keep heating emergencies at bay. When each component of your heating system is clean and there is no damage to speak of, it will run efficiently and little problems won’t have the opportunity to fester and grow into something unmanageable. No one ever plans an emergency, but you can help prevent one by keeping your heating system in good working order all year round.

Then we’ll fix a two-hour window with you in which we’ll come round, sort out whatever’s gone wrong and get you back up and running.

Some people may think that if a heating engineer provides great technical service, they are a great service provider. Exceptional service is certainly a must, but there is much more to it than that. A great heating engineer shows up on time, is friendly and courteous, respects your home and everyone in it, does not add hidden fees to the total and has no issue answering your questions.

Normal Fees…Even During Emergencies

Even when attending an emergency, we just charge for the work that we do at our normal rates.
This means we charge an initial hour at the rate applicable at that time of day, and if we’re still working after one hour, we charge further time in half hour increments. You can see our charge scale in the table below.
